Due Date

I recently watched this movie, and I absolutely have to tell you that you have got to be the most patient person in the world to be in this situation.
It's like a recurring of unfortunate events happening at the most important week of his entire life.
Starring Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis, you're guaranteed to laugh till the very end.
Peter (Robert) needs to get back to his pregnant wife for their first child birth scheduled C-section.
But accidentally got thrown out of the aeroplane together with Ethan (Zach) due to their exaggerated miscommunication before the take off.
Missing his wallet and ID, Peter were forced to accept hitching a ride with Zach (including his dog), and embark on a journey of unexpected mishaps all the way from Atlanta, (into Mexico) to LA.
Apart from the laughs, let me remind you that there's several gross scenes, in case you feel like watching this with the kids, please beware.

Other than that, this movie portrays both the balance concept of life, the good and the bad side of people.
I feel that Ethan's role thought me to always make a positive choice towards all misfortune, and there's always a choice in life.

Love Robert Downey Jr !!

  4. Love RDJ, and the previews of this movie looks like a remake of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, but I could not make it through this movie. I just had trouble finding any redeeming qualities in Zach G's character. I think it was supposed to show how RDJ was becoming more tolerant and patient, hence to be a good dad, but I was just so annoyed by the characters and situations and that they kept trying to work together instead of going separate ways. So for this one RDJ movie, I have to say I was not impressed. I watched it at home, so I tried to jump forward to find something I liked, but it didn't work for me. :( Maybe I am short on patience.
