Still Oct Photo-A-Day effort

Let's continue.

Day 8 "Angle"
Triangle is my favourite angle.  What's yours?
Hahaha.. just trying to take this baby out for a breather.
It's the Louis Vuitton Watercolour Aquarelle Speedy 30 in White.
I really do not have the courage to handle vachetta leather.. Sigh.. :(

Day 9 "Red"
Or famously known as Pomme D'Amour..
oh sounds soooo romantic isn't it?
My favourite shades of red ever!
From the Louis Vuitton Vernis collection, these are the Sarah Wallet and the Cles Key Pouch.

Day 10 "Emotion"
This is genuinely happy feeling for my baby, as bathing like a princess is her ultimate favourite activity!

Day 11 "Something close up"
And what better way than to capture this Coach Crocodile Embossed Maggie Ink texture for this day theme.

Day 12 "On the table"
Is what I have prepared for my mom!
Breakfast in bed.
Homemade pancake with butter, maple syrup and honey as dipped choices and hot nescafe on the side.
Mom's birthday was on the 11th October.
Of course, we had the celebration later the weekend but this was the least I could do before rushing off to work.

Day 13 "Landscape"
Love this view overlooking from the open area outside the Kuala Lumpur National Mosque.

Day 14 "Makes you laugh"
And drives all the worries away..
Remind me to focus more on spending quality time with my family.

Day 15 "Dinnertime"
Yes, I know, I'm a bad mother..
but what can I say when all that he wanted was a milk shake with whipped cream on top?
Yeah, coincidentally, we do always have whipped cream in the fridge.
And yes, strawberries too.. LOL

Day 16 "Something you wrote"
Seriously, writing is no longer something I do on regular basis.
It's always jotting down notes on laptop or notepad inside the iphone.
But sometimes, scribbling it down does help to have the clear understanding.
Conclusion, I think my handwriting is getting uglier.. hmm..

That's all for now.
Will be back for more!

A Photo A Day

Oh I sooo am missing my blog.
I used to sometimes spent time reading my own entry.
Because it holds so much memories.
But my life currently is way too hectic, that I hardly even have the "me" time anymore.
Then again, I'd rather sacrifice that, to spent the time with my kiddos, of course.

Been introduced by an old friend to this, which I find it relatively fun.
This could take my mind of work for a while and well, at least now, it can become my current hobby.
It's from fatmumslim.com.au.
Just a list of photo challenge to put on the Instagram.

I started with Day 1 "where you stood" with this picture of me sitting in the car, on my way to work.
Well, to be exact it's a picture of my Louis Vuitton Mirage Speedy next to my feet wearing Clarks black patent leather sandals.

My Day 2 "lunchtime" was a picture of my Avent breastpump kit.
Yeah, my lunch hours are usually boring.
Me and my commitment to fully breastfeed my baby, Aishah.

Next, I was soo keen to put on something spectacular for my Day 3 "this happened today" challenge.
I've been waiting for something weird or great to happen so I can share it.
But unfortunately, the day was terrible.
I got pissed off and annoyed at so many people at work, even got angry at my boss.
Got way too busy attending more meetings than a person could handle.
Was going from one building to another, and answering one phone call to the next.

Which then I realised why I felt super hungry by lunch time.
I actually had skipped my breakfast.
So, I ended up with a hefty roasted chicken and cleaned the plate in seconds!
Which then, that's my Day 3 pics.
Ahh.. yummy..
And they said that we eat when we're stress!
It's just hungry, really.
Pfffttt !

Say NO to Saggy LV Speedy..

..when you have HippieGal base shaper!
I almost forgot that I actually made a review on the purseforum, a year ago, until a friend recently asked me about my Speedy base shaper.
So I thought maybe I should just post it here in my blog.

The reason for this review was to share information regarding this HippieGal base shaper, made special for Louis Vuitton Speedy handbag.
My thread was in the Louis Vuitton subforum, dedicated for all the LV Speedy lovers/ seekers worldwide.
Just to get that clear because I have no intention to boost or whatsoever, so, if you're feeling annoyed with this, so, beat it!

Having said that, let's get started, shall we.

Here is the Louis Vuitton Monogram Speedy 25, which I recently bought for my mom's birthday.

I am very picky and fussy about bags, and Speedy is no exception.
I initially fallen for Speedy due to the boxy looks of it, and knowing that I inherited this 'picky' genes from my mom, I was sure that she would prefer the same look too.
So, I bought the HippieGal base shaper size 25 before handing over this LV to her.

It successfully gave the structured look to the Speedy, besides adding more interior compartments for better organization.

I have 3 LV Speedy.
(Yeah, you should know by now that from my collection of Coach Sabrina and Coach Poppy Pocket Hobo, that I tend to get the bags design that I like, in multiples)
The Watercolour Aquarelle White 35, Mirage Noir 30 and Sprouse Roses 30.
And I bought both sizes of HippieGal base shaper to suit them all.

Here's the Louis Vuitton Watercolour Aquarelle White Speedy 35, fully loaded with my usual stuffs and without the base shaper inside.
Look at how ugly the uneven sagging.

I stuffed her up with the beige coloured HippieGal base shaper size 35.
If you go to the HippieGal website, you will not see base shaper size 35 for sale.
This is because it is not as in demand as others sizes.
But have no fear, coz Sutanya (the maker) will make it for you immediately, upon request.

Enabling the Speedy 35 to transform to a beautifully shaped swan!

Next, is the Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse Roses Speedy 30, fully loaded with my usual stuffs, without the HippieGal base shaper inside.

I choose the red HippieGal base shaper just for the dramatic look.. bwahahha
Oh by the way, the HippieGal base shaper comes in red, black, brown, khaki/ beige and white.

Completely loving the speedy look inside and out!

Now, this comes the tricky part.
Louis Vuitton Mirage Noir 30, as I mentioned before here, this Speedy has a thicker canvas layer compared to other LV Speedy.
Hence, although it is the size 30, the HippieGal base shaper size 30 cannot fit inside it.
Behold, the over-flowing HippieGal.

Since I also have the base shaper size 25, I thought I might give it a squeeze inside the Mirage Noir 30.
It fits, but create an inch loose gap on the interior portion.

No worries here.
Seriously, the Mirage Noir 30 is thick enough, it can really stay in its shape as by herself, without any base shaper.

That's all about HippieGal base shaper.
I am not affiliated to it in any way.
Just doing a community service here..
(Although it'd be great if I got paid too.. bwahahha )

Hope this helps.

Treasuring my Trevi

Recently, Fina just called me queen of LV, which absolutely surprises me because I don't have much LV anyways, so, maybe it's due to my blogger avatar.
Then, JeM and Nini said that they are lusting for a Trevi, which reminds me about my own Trevi, and how long have I stopped blogging about bags.
Gosh, what happened to me?

Is there ever such possibility that I might loose interest in bags?
Errrrr... NOT !
I'm just so occupied with work lately that blogging is now considered as a huge effort for me.
But of course I still stretch my neck to look at that girl's bag across the other LRT coach.
Of course I still secretly twitch my eyes to glance at that lady's bag while in the elevator.
Of course I still pretend to buy tictacs at the counter top just to look at the lady's wallet while she's paying for her snacks.

Trevi is my 4th Louis Vuitton bag.
If you noticed, so far, I've been buying only limited edition released LV bags.
This is because I'm not so much of a fan towards the permanent prints.
Permanent here means that it is a year-round collection.
But this Trevi Damier Ebene is the one and only to break the rules.
It took me some time to decide on either the Hampstead PM or Trevi PM.
Well, actually, to be honest, I'm still thinking on that Hampstead now.
But don't cha just feel silly to get another one in ebene? (talk to me out of it, will ya!)

I have tons of Coach bag charms at the moment, so, you will see me mixing them brands, now and then.
Trevi Damier Ebene PM, the PM stands for "petit modèle" that means small size in french.
This Trevi design comes in two sizes only, small and large, which is known as the GM, "grande modèle".
Besides in Damier Ebene, this Trevi design also can be special ordered in Damier Azur prints (the white-grey chequered) because LV don't make Trevi in Azur as part of its collection.

Besides the gorgeous pleats up front, here are some features of Trevi Damier Ebene PM;

  • PM Size 13.4" (L) x 9.4" (H) x 5.9" (W)
  • Coated canvas material in Damier Ebene prints, combination of two chocolate tones forming  chequered pattern.
  • Double rounded handles and trimmings in dark chocolate patent leather.
  • Zip top closure with brass engraved zipper pull.
  • Two Interior slip pockets
  • Removable leather strap for shoulder carry.
  • Base studs on to bottom part of the bag, for protection against scratches when placed down.
  • Red alcantra lining (microfibre)
It has a removable shoulder strap, which to be used when you want to shoulder carry the Trevi, but if you ask me, I would say that I can still shoulder carry it by the double rolled handles because the Trevi handle is not as small as the speedy handle.
I love this Trevi, although at times I do wish that the extra strap is a tad longer so I can cross-body sling it while taking the LRT.
Yeah, the Trevi extra shoulder strap looks great with the gold buckle and all, but it's really not adjustable.
What a shame :p

    Never say Neverfull

    Ok.. you got me..
I told myself many many many times before that I will never get this flimsy tote.
    Louis Vuitton Neverfull in Monogram.
But lately, I've been putting a lot of thoughts to it.
    Yeah, I know.. I know..
Almost all Linda, Jane, Sally, Nur and Siti owns this.
Louis Vuitton Neverfull in Damier Ebene.
It's like flooding Neverfull in KL nowadays.
But I just can't get it out of my head !
Louis Vuitton Neverfull in Damier Azur.
It all started when I realised that for this whole week, I've been carrying my Coach Tribeca Tote, because it's just so spacious and I can dump everything but the kitchen sink in there.
I've been too busy lately, that I just didn't bother to switch handbags anymore.
I was so occupied with work load, that I have forgotten to even check if it matches my outfits, or not.
Not only for work, but the tote just suitable for dinner and outing with the kids too.
Well, lets just say that a bottomless-pit tote, is all that I need right now.
    Louis Vuitton Cosmic Blossom Tote
It looks great on Hillary Duff..
    .. and on Nicky Hilton..
Wonder if it'll look good on me?
But I've heard so many complaints about the thin shoulder strap digging into the flesh.
Hmm... what do you think?  Let me know if it's true, ok?

    LVing la vida FIFA

Please stop reading if you are already so annoyed on hearing about the World Cup, because I'm still gonna continue blogging about it.
Only this time, it's not about the matches..
    ..not about the handsome players..
..not about paul the octopus either..
    But, it's about Louis Vuitton.
Read on if you're wondering on how exactly is it associating with the World Cup.

Commissioned by FIFA, the special order case, handmade by a single master craftsman in Louis Vuitton’s historic Asnières workshop, near Paris, has been meticulously designed to accommodate the celebrated FIFA World Cup Trophy.
Yes, the Trophy's has its own travel case!
    How awesome is that?
Covered in Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram canvas, the travel case is fitted with the company’s signature brass lock and corners, and has a dark brown lining that complements the Trophy’s rich gold.
Like all Louis Vuitton special orders, this Trophy case was made at the company’s original workshop in Asnières, which opened in 1859.
The case opens at the front and at the top to allow the Trophy to be removed easily when, at the final on 11th July in Johannesburg, as watched by many millions of people across the globe.
Spain is not the only winner of the 2010 World Cup.
Louis Vuitton has officially made it into sports history with this product placement.
The FIFA trophy was presented on the Soccer City Stadium with the LV monogram case, by Fabio Cannavaro, captain of the former 2006 World Cup Champion, Italy, as he kissed the Trophy goodbye, before it was handed over to Iker Casillas, captain of the victorious Spanish team.
As hot as the LV casing might be, I have to say Fabio is indeed hotter!
