Jar of Hearts

I've been meaning to google about this song for the past few weeks, but was kept busy lately.
Finally, after much listening to it on air whilst on my way to/ fro work, now I know who's the powerful voice belongs to.
The music arrangements are almost to nothing.
The strength of this song completely depending on Christina Perri's voice.
Although I do think the video clip is partially scary with the sort of life sucking vampire thingy.

So, it's Ne-Yo

This song has seriously captured my ears for the past few months.
I've heard it a lot on the radio and have been humming to it, but never really bothered to find out who sang it.
Until tonight, as I watched the video on MTV.
Sort of have that similar dance-concept to the late Michael Jackson's The Way You Make Me Feel.. but I'll blog about that next time.

1Malaysia spirit in Arif

I am ashamed at myself for not knowing about this 1Malaysia song.
Whilst Arif has learnt it by heart.

And he's been so excited with the Malaysia flag too.
He will yell out "satu malaysia" whenever there's a flag in sight.

So you can imagine the excitement when we gave him a huge flag, to swoosh, and swish with all his might.

It all began when Arif started to hang around with his grandma at times when my parents were watching the TV1 news.
And this "Satu Malaysia" song by LimKokWing - the Merdeka Edition, shall be aired after the news.
With the help of Nekya, who loves singing too, Arif easily learnt this song just within a week.

Missing him sooo much..

Chuck is currently having a break now in US, due to the Holiday season.
So, no more episodes for me to watch.
It's already been more than 2 weeks.
I've already watched the rerun of all 10 episodes of Season 4 and I can't take it anymore!

Was annoyed at "I Got You"

Seriously!
I was sooo annoyed at this song!

Sorry, no offence to Leona Lewis but I've been listening to this song for months and I couldn't get what the heck she's singing at the chorus part!!
I only listen to songs on the radio, in the car and I love to sing along to the songs that I like.
And yeah, I do like this song a lot, and I can clearly catch the lyrics from the beginning except for the chorus part!
It's just soo annoying!
I mean, I hate the fact that I can't understand what she's saying at that chorus!
There's even one time when I purposely blast out loud the radio just to catch the words, but to no avail of course because the music at that chorus part was also the loudest too!

So, I had to succumbed to googling for the lyrics!
I googled it, right there at that very moment, in the car, squinting my eyes on the iphone, while the song still playing on the radio!
Yes, I googled, for the sake of my sanity.

And I took an oath at that very moment that I am going to blog about this.

Going to Tokio for free!

Not Tokyo, but TOKIO!
Yes, I'm talking about the group band, TOKIO HOTEL.

If you are not aware of the current music news, never fear, coz I am here to educate you.
Well, am educating myself too, to be exact!
I had no idea of this TOKIO HOTEL, until my sister kept ohh-aahhing over the fact that the group is coming to perform here in Malaysia.

Here's some facts I learned from the Sun Daily News and Wikipedia ; 

• Tokio Hotel is a German pop-rock-band founded in Magdeburg, Germany in year 2001, as just an underground local band there, with and un-released demo CD titled Devilish
• Their 1st album released in 2005 titled Schrei (it means Scream in English), followed by their 2nd album which was also in Deutsch, titled Zimmer 483 (means Room 483) in year 2007

• They released their first English album late 2007 with surprisingly the same title as their first album, but in English language, Scream.. and followed by another English album last year, 2009, titled Humanoid

• The band member consists of singer Bill Kaulitz and his identical twin brother Tom Kaulitz as guitarist, drummer Gustav Schäfer and Georg Listing as the bassist.
