Here's my version of the so called HCG diet

What is HCG?
I seriously do not know.
Hahahah..
But of course, I googled it and I studied it, and I made notes of it.
Lets keep it easy to understand, it is a low calorie dietary plan.
Now, being a naive person that I am, I do not calculate calories.
Heck, for me it is just impossible to note on each calorie intake.
So therefore, I calculate weight.
Hey, if u want to loose your weight, so, it's fair that you weigh your food intake.
Comprendo?

How did I ever began my journey of loosing weight?
Through reading Redmummy's blog and her achievements.
I'm not gonna lie.
I envied her.

Now that I made the intro, lets get to the core part.
No carbs
No sugar
I will not elaborate on this coz I know you readers are all grown up, so, stop whining!

Must take minimum of 3L plain water a day
And THREE bijik fruits per day for your body sugar needs
But fruits are limited to either apples/ pear/ guava/ strawberries/ berries/ sour mangoes only
No pisang (banana)
No mempelam manis (sweet mangoes)
No durian
No watermelon
No limau mandarin (oranges)
No matter how naturally grown they are, these fruits listed are high in calories and sugar content.

Just eat proteins and vegetables
Safe if u can cook them yourselves
As u need to control the oil usage.

Steamed shrimp with fresh garden salad, baby tomatoes, capsicum, lemon squeeze, salt and pepper.
Your first 25 days (Day 1 - Day 25th)
Must not use oil at all when cooking.
No milk, eggs, and cheese too.
No tomato sauce
No chilli sauce
No mayonaise
No thousand island
No mustard
No kicap! (soy sauce)
These all have high sugar and oil content!
Weigh your proteins intake.
It should be about only 300gm - 400gm.
You can easily estimate from the market packaging.
Not that hard when you get use to it, just the size of your palm, well, my palm that is.
And make sure you remove all the skins and fats too.
You can take Chicken / Beef / Lamb / Fish / Squid and Shrimp
No salmon.
No prawns.
No crabs.
There are many ways for you to cook them proteins and vegetables.
Steamed / Grilled / Baked / Boiled
I usually marinated my chicken / beef / lamb with rosemary, lemon, salt and pepper and BBQ sauce.  Read the contents, as some BBQ sauce has no sugar, so I bought and used that.
And as for the fish, I like to wrap mine in tin foil, stuffed together with salt, pepper, lemon, asparagus, chilli flakes and asam keping.  Oh the juice was just heavenly yummehhh.
Warm beef or chicken soup is simply the best and easiest to make too.

Like me, similar with Redmummy, I too have that magical pan, where I can put everything, both vege and proteins into it and leave it to cook.
Advisable that you cook several types of dishes and store them up in containers for easy grab and go.

How and When to eat them?
Lunch and Dinner only.
Yes, twice a day.
So, what do you do when you're hungry?
Eat fruits, and drink water.
Drink. Drink. Drink lots of plain water.
Munch. Munch. Munch on the fruits.
I usually cut 2 bijik fruits in the morning, sprinkle some salt and put it in zip lock bag to work.
I took some as breakfast and the rest as tea.
Another fruit I ate at night, as supper.
Because of this diet, this was my first time buying avocados.  Really! Haha..
Tea?
Coffee?
Yeah sure you can take them but NO SUGAR.
And remember, this does not count as part of your water intake.
You still need that minimum 3L plain water.
Supplements, yes, during this phase, I took B-Complex and Vitamin-C everyday to keep me energised.
You should take supplements too.
The first 4 days of your diet, you will be the toilet most regular visitor.
Dont be shy, you must go and pee.
And you will sweat like you've been doing the marathon.
This shows that your body is reacting to the new diet regime.
So be happy!
Although you felt like wanting to eat a horse, control yourself, and keep muching the fruits.
It'll get better during the 5th day.

On day 14, try the only apples day.
This means whole day, no food, except just SEVEN bijik green apples.
And water water water.
Sounds impossible.  But it is doable.
One day only. Detox day.
In the case that you don't like green apples, yeah, sure, red apples are cool.  But take just FIVE bijik.
Beef pepperoni and rosemary baked chicken, with fresh garden salad, capsicum, avocado, lemon squeeze, salt and pepper

The following 25 days : (Day 26th - Day 50th)
No carbs
No sugar
Yeah, stop whining already!
Still, must not gobble the proteins skin and fats.
And continue to weight the food intake too.
But, you can start taking your proteins and veges in the form of fried, curry, masak lemak and asam pedas!
Hooray!
See, I told you it will get better.

On Day 30th, you need to puasa makan (fasting).
Only drink and drink water from morning, till 6pm.
Take your dinner with a proper steak / lamb chop and vegetable.
This is your reward day!
Yeah, there's such thing as reward too.
And I took mine at Victoria Station, of course.
Day 51, you are done!
You can take the carbs and sugar back.
And you can stop measuring your food intake.
But I will guarantee you that you will do eat gradually and with grace.
Why? Because of all the weight you have lost, silly!
You will not gonna let all those effort go to waste.

I have lost a total of 8kg in 50 days.
I believe I was lucky because of the timing.
I started my diet near the Sya'aban month, and joining the Ramadhan, so it was pretty easy for me as I got to enjoy food like normal during the Syawal month.
If you asked me, I did not perform any exercise during my diet.
Well, just some daily sit ups and star jumps in the morning before shower, but that's just it.
However, I started afterwards.
After I completed the 50 days.
Then I started doing morning walks / jogs on alternate days.
Not much, just 3 rounds around the neighborhood, totaling to almost 2km each.
Maintain the 3L water intake.
And shed another 3kg in the next 30 days.

You have to remember that this is a healthy diet plan.
Not a crash diet
Do not exceed the timeline period.
25 days, first phase.
25 days, second phase.
If you wish to start again first phase, you need to wait after another 25 days of normality.
This means that you can't do the no carbs, no sugar, no oil, for more than one month.
Because this is not healthy for the body.

Always remember that there's no such thing as cheat day.
You have had your cheat day the rest of your lives, so this time, stick to it till the phase is over.
Oh, do weigh yourself every morning as soon as you wake up from sleep, everyday of this diet.
Thats the best time to measure yourself.
Not before bedtime.

So thats all of my secrets.
Which no longer a secret.
Determination is the key.
It's all up to you.
Still maintain my fruits intake, but now I can dip it in chocolate.. wuhuu!

20 Facts About Myself

Sooner or later, I may have to close this blog.
It's already September and I'm not even blogging monthly anymore.
Getting lazier by the minute.
I have forgotten the real reason for this blog.
I used to be very passionate about life and love to share it with everybody.
And this blog is used to record them.
So that I will not forget.
So that my kids will not forget.

Anyway, I've been tagged by @kerengga_kurus from instagram for this challenge;
20 Facts About Myself.
So, get your buckets/ pail & ready to puke, coz here are the facts about me that all paparazzi are dying to know.
  1. I believe in channeling positive vibe to myself therefore i picked the nickname jelita78 in 1998, assuming that i am gorgeous. (Sila muntah sekarang) *jelita is a Malay word which means beautiful person.
  2. I was too naive & used the nick cokecool in IRC era without realising that it has similar slang to drug usage.
  3. I had 7 boyfriends & married the 8th
  4. I saved Le-hubby from the headache & suspense of proposing to me from the top of the Eiffel. I went ahead & started our wedding preparation. (Giller nak kawen, boleh? It's actually pure instinct jodoh laa konon)
  5. I watched Titanic in cinemas for 7 times.
  6. I have a dream of pursuing masters & want to study in UK. I applied the recent Pasca Mara but failed.
  7. I wanted to become an MAS stewardess, to travel around the world but i was way too sexy for their slit-kebaya-skirt.
  8. I am ever so grateful to have performed the Hajj with my parents at the age of 23. Now i wish to go again with Le-hubby.
  9. Le-hubby said i looked like anak-orang-asli when I was 4-6yo in the old family album. Thus i consider myself the living proof of the ugly duckling (dipersilakan utk muntah lagi)
  10. When i was 7-8yo, i wore the petticoat (kain dalam) just like a normal skirt because the laces trim are just so pretty. Yeah, believe me when i claimed that i was actually the muse for Versace.
  11. I dressed like a tomboy beginning of highschool and i hated high heels. I only started wearing them to work.
  12. I was a pramaholic a.k.a stroller addict. I have bought & sold about 40 pieces of strollers/ car seats. I am a member of the strollersandprams forum & have made several stroller reviews. Go check them out if you ever interested in strollers.
  13. I have a blog but haven't updated it much lately. It's jelita78.blogspot.com incase you want something to put you to sleep.
  14. I have bought & sold more than 120 handbags since y2007. Currently i own only 20. I'm an ebayer & a mudah.my user. Feel free to look at my great pre-loved bargains under the same nick; jelita78.
  15. My first branded handbag was Coach Hamptons Business Tote Carryall bought by Le-hubby in y2007. Little did he knew this was whats triggered my bag addiction.
  16. I buy multiples of something that i adored, i.e; Coach Madison Sabrina Satchel which i ended up buying SEVEN of them but in different colours. And JovianRTW kurung modern that i ended up with more than THIRTY pieces at once.
  17. I own two pairs of Christian Louboutin pumps but my feet couldn't find comfort in them. Never should have bought it in the first place. Now sayang nak jual pulak.
  18. I have queued for a Birkin bag at Hermes KL boutique a few years back. I have received the call. But i am nowhere affordable for it. I'm just thrilled to be in the list & to experience how the system works. I have in the end managed to buy something Hermes. It's the necktie. Still something from the orange house to be excited about.
  19. I posses the supermom powers of folding clothes & packing for trips. Yeah, i think i want more kids too.
  20. I finally managed to fit back into my 11years old wedding outfits last week. After loosing 11kg from HCG diet. Did the no sugar, no carbs and no oily foods for almost 60 days since the month of Sya'ban. This is my greatest achievement considering that i am a chocolate slave and i love baking cakes! Now, to maintain the weight, is another challenge. Glad that my latest heartthrob has initiated the #fitmalaysia campaign, terus semangat nak exercise.

"Moist" is my middle name

But you can call me Buttermilk cake, hehehe..
Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

I was having a stressful day and needed to calm myself down last night. As I vet through the fridge, I saw the carton of buttermilk that's about to expire.
So, waste not!

Here's a very simple recipe I managed to google up from the net.

2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 cup sugar
125gm butter (half of the 250gm bar)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup buttermilk

Mix well the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt, put them aside.
Beat butter with sugar.
Add in the eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix till fluff.
Add in half of the flour mix, and mix till smooth. Add in half of the buttermilk and mix till smooth. Continue with the remaining.
Bake at 180degrees for 30 mins or till brown.
U can use any type of baking tins, this time I'm using bundt pan.
Oh by the way, you can add in a spoonful of lemon zest and lemon juice into the batter above for more lemony flavour.

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Lastly, drizzle the lemon sauce on the cake after it has been cooled on the wire rack.
Some suggests to lightly poke with toothpicks all over the top part of the cake so that the lemon sauce would go deep inside the cake.

To make the lemon sauce, just heat up 1/3 cup of squeezed lemon juice and 2 tbsp sugar, till thickened. Well, actually, the sugar part is quite subjective. Taste the sauce and add in according to your preference.

I opt to use the star-shaped sprinkles this time just to spice up the boring look.
Plus the fact that thats the only sprinkles I have left! LoL!

Have fun baking!

Kampung Croissant

Special blogpost for nadiahkhair.

Today my grandma, TokNah made this special tea dish which we called it as "kampung croissant"
Well, ok.
I lied
My nenek called it something else which if mentioned here, I might get banned. Haha

It's very difficult to get the recipe from her because she just threw this and that and wallaaah, done!

But with the help of 4 of my aunties, I managed to get this recipe:
3 cups of flour
2 tsp of mauripan
1 cup of water
2 tbsp of sugar
2 tbsp of planta (margerine/ butter)

Steps
1. Mix the mauripan with water
2. Next, mix the sugar
3. Then add in flour
4. Kneed the dough (add water using spoon to firm the dough if needed)
5. Add in planta
6. Kneed some more
7. Set aside for 10 minutes for the dough to kembang (rise)
8. Made a circle and cut in half like pacman shape
9. Fried and best serve hot!

Grandma said this mix can be used to make
1. Kampung croissant
2. Baked at 170degrees for 25 minutes for roti bakar
3. Steamed for 25 minutes for roti kukus
4. Fried and cut half to make mini sambal burgers
5. Donuts
6. Rolled onto hotdogs before fried or baked and you'll get those hotel pastries!

Wallahhh!
Aish loved it.
Can't wait to give it a try soon.
Maybe I'll add in the hotdogs.. Yummss

Late night chores

My dear children, and loveable husband,
While you were all soundly sleeping at this hour, on the comfy bed, snoring deep into the night, please know that mommy is still wide awake...

... folding and storing all your freshly washed and dried clothes.
Finally getting all these 5-laundry batches sorted out within 2 hours.

So please do your best to not mess up your drawers and cupboards when you pick your clothes because mommy is way too tired to sort them all out.
Or else, I will make you sleep inside your cupboard.

Nite nite!

Still Oct Photo-A-Day effort

Let's continue.

Day 8 "Angle"
Triangle is my favourite angle.  What's yours?
Hahaha.. just trying to take this baby out for a breather.
It's the Louis Vuitton Watercolour Aquarelle Speedy 30 in White.
I really do not have the courage to handle vachetta leather.. Sigh.. :(

Day 9 "Red"
Or famously known as Pomme D'Amour..
oh sounds soooo romantic isn't it?
My favourite shades of red ever!
From the Louis Vuitton Vernis collection, these are the Sarah Wallet and the Cles Key Pouch.

Day 10 "Emotion"
This is genuinely happy feeling for my baby, as bathing like a princess is her ultimate favourite activity!

Day 11 "Something close up"
And what better way than to capture this Coach Crocodile Embossed Maggie Ink texture for this day theme.

Day 12 "On the table"
Is what I have prepared for my mom!
Breakfast in bed.
Homemade pancake with butter, maple syrup and honey as dipped choices and hot nescafe on the side.
Mom's birthday was on the 11th October.
Of course, we had the celebration later the weekend but this was the least I could do before rushing off to work.

Day 13 "Landscape"
Love this view overlooking from the open area outside the Kuala Lumpur National Mosque.

Day 14 "Makes you laugh"
And drives all the worries away..
Remind me to focus more on spending quality time with my family.

Day 15 "Dinnertime"
Yes, I know, I'm a bad mother..
but what can I say when all that he wanted was a milk shake with whipped cream on top?
Yeah, coincidentally, we do always have whipped cream in the fridge.
And yes, strawberries too.. LOL

Day 16 "Something you wrote"
Seriously, writing is no longer something I do on regular basis.
It's always jotting down notes on laptop or notepad inside the iphone.
But sometimes, scribbling it down does help to have the clear understanding.
Conclusion, I think my handwriting is getting uglier.. hmm..

That's all for now.
Will be back for more!

Instagram fever

I've just discovered Instagram.
Yeah, I'm late, I know.
Well, I'm not the social media type either, so, that's forgiven, I guess.
My friend Elin, Nini and Yaya were the ones who introduced me to this.
At first I registered only to view their pics.
Then I got sick of Elin posting all these food she cooked!
Demm that woman has the jamie-oliver-i-can-cook-quickly-and-delicious trait!
And then Yaya tempted me with her bags piccies.
Oh the devil!
And Nini with her beautiful experimental shots.
Which then tempted me to try snapping piccies of my own.
I think I got carried away too much today.
It's hard enough for me to post one pic a day, but today I posted 3!
That is way overloaded, for me.
Then suddenly it made me miss my blog.
Which I have been neglecting for sometime.
Hence, I figured, I'm gonna post my Instagram pics here today.
So, here they are..

First pic:
I was wearing a cotton floral baju kurung prints to work today.
And instead of just using this Cath Kidston Box Bag as my EBM carrier, I emptied my cooler container and took it out to lunch with me.
While waiting for the food, I realised that I was too crowded with flowers.
Hence note to self : Do not carry flower prints bag while wearing floral prints clothes !
Too much, even my eyes hurt!

Next:
After some false alarm last week, it finally rained today!
Alhamdulillah.. love the cool breeze and the fresh smell after the rain.
Which gave Arif, the reason to wear his elmo-rain-poncho.. indoors!
Sigh..
Yeah, sure honey, why not.. go ahead.
Whateva makes you happy.

Last:
Suddenly hubby decided to ditch Aishah and mommy, and went for the all-boys-nite-out to catch the 9pm show of Ice Age 4 the movie.
So, mommy being alone decided to whip out the instant fried noodles, with some salad, and some fishballs, and wallllaaaahh.. Dinner is served!
Nommm nommm nommm.. with cili jeruk too, of course!

Dust.. dust.. *cough* cough*

Gosh.
It's been a while since my last blog post.

Yeah, as always, I've been busy with work.
It's definitely occupying 99.99% of my brains at this moment.
So you may think, what with all the works at this time of the year, anyways?
Well, if you have a data migration of 60,000 circuits due in February, and the new system launching scheduled in April, you will understand the hectic pace I am currently at in performing data cleansing, system performance test, and etc..
I am trying to do as much and the best I could so that my team mates will not be facing any problem later on as I go on my maternity leave, possibly a week before the system release.
How convenient is that?
I know, the chances of zero glitch are slim.. very slim..
But hey, we can dream, can't we?

Anyway, I only managed to be on leave this week, since the whole system group is also taking their break for the festive holidays.
Started the morning with a stop at Amin's school, to get the Standard 2 book list, and check on the school's bookstore to make sure of it's opening hours and books readiness.
Will go back there again tomorrow morning as both me and hubby had not enough cash with us since the bookstore only handles cash.

Then off to the dentist for my dental appointment.
It's been a year since my last visit.. how embarrassing!
And the last time, it was to dress up my wisdom tooth.
And yes, the dressing had worn out and it hurts again, badly since last weekend, that caused me to take panadol every 4 hours.
Since I am now pregnant, my dentist can't perform any tooth extraction, or root canal either as the anesthetic to be used is quite strong.
Therefore, she just re-dress the old dressing.
That should stop the pain.. for now..
Although I do have to lay low on solid foods for today and tomorrow until the gum stops swollen.. ouch.

Preparation for school

(pic googled from the net)

I promise my best bud Izzi that I'll create this post for her, as guidelines to help her in preparing for Amirah standard 1 enrollment.
I'll try my best to cover all aspects, but kindly let me know if I might have missed out on anything.
  1. Pre-registration : We should register our kids at most a year ago, as to which school we want to enroll them in. The school may want to see your house-bill as to check the address because priority will be given prior to home address.
  2. Follow up enrollment : November is the month to check with the school on the registration/ enrollment/ orientation date.
  3. Books :  The list of books can be obtained from the school bookstore.  My advice to call up the school beforehand and check if the list has been distributed by the ministry of education.  Also check the bookstore opening hours.  Buy all the exercise books listed because I find all the books to be very useful during revision time.  The loan text books will be given to parents on the registration day. The workbook (buku kerja) however will not be completely used.  Maybe just half of the amount - depends on the school.  Hence my advice to not write your kid's class on the front of it, so that it can be carried on for the following year.  Reminder to write your kids name on the top front cover of the books.  Easy for teachers to distribute the books and for kids to not get them mix up with other kids' books.
  4. Book cover : The plastic cover, now they invented it as slip cover, in the size of the text books and the workbooks.  Hence, we no more need to buy the clear wrapper and cut it and cello-taped it to fit all the books perfectly.  Thanks to this latest invention! Saves tons of time.
  5. School bag :  Oh boy.. I can't say much about this because I am biased.  I hate the school bags with wheels.  I think they are huge and will only be in the way of other children walking.  I know that books are heavy and our 7 year old are such tiny tots, but really, these bags are huge and I personally think it is cumbersome. Especially when now the text books are all have been divided into modules and no longer come in thick sizes.  I bought just a simple Crumpler backpack for Amin.  So again, this is up to you and your kid preference (and your kid's body size too).
  6. Uniform : Standard design.  You can get it from any malls.  But as for me, hubby has his most trusted shop over in Penang.  The number of clothes, for Amin, we bought 5 shirts and 4 pants because kids at his age will not care as much about being clean, so, we're assuming that the shirts and pants will get dirty easily.
  7. Socks : There are school socks made special with black soles.  Buy this one! You will never be stressed over seeing dirty socks anymore.
  8. Shoes : We bought two pairs, due to the fact that Malaysia is an equatorial country experiencing regular rains.  And be prepared to buy new shoes after 5 months as the kid's feet grow sort of rapidly.
  9. Sports attire : No need to buy extra, a pair is enough - a tee-shirt and a track bottom.  This is because that they will only be having sports session once a week.  Sports attire available at the school's bookstore.
  10. Stationary :  Equipped them with just this - a pencil, an eraser, a sharpener and a ruler inside a pencil case.  Not more than that, because every single day, one item shall gone missing.  You will get annoyed in the first place but believe me, this is common.  Therefore, advisable to buy in bulk amount for all items.  Saves you the numerous trip to buy the stationary when lost.
  11. Food : We provided daily snacks for Amin.  Either chicken balls, or bread with nutella spread, or mini cereal.  We didn't give Amin any money for the first 4 months.  This is because that I personally don't trust canteen food.  And I also worried for Amin to have to fight with other big kids to rush and buy food as their break time only lasts a few minutes.
  12. Spending money :  Since Amin has daily snacks from home, therefore we only give him RM1 per day.  Which at initial stage, he spend all of it at the bookstore.  Either buying an eraser, a pencil, a notepad or a pack pf plasticine.  Later he spend it on buying a pack of raisins, and sometimes a bottle of nutrigen drink.  Don't give too much to your kid because he still doesn't know the value of money yet, and will definitely spend it, instead of saving up.
  13. Labeling : All items must be labelled with permanent marker.  Apart from for the clothes, the shoes must also be labelled.  This is because that at times when they have to take off their shoes while entering the prayer rooms (when attending Islamic lesson) or the library.  There is high probability of shoes get mixed up.  Although labeling the stationary will not prevent it from going missing, it could however slow down the loss frequency.
  14. Emergency kit : This specifically refers to the extra under-pants.  Yes, you can never be over confident that your child will not have the bathroom accidents.  This doesn't only applied to the unfortunate discharged, but also relates to the uncontrollable water hose in the loo.  So, what I did was that I packed an undies inside a plastic bag, fold it up and placed it inside the slip in compartment inside the school bag.  Please make it your responsibility as a parent to go to the school's toilet and test using it.
  15. Contact number : I consider this as priority one.  Very important item for every child.  I wrote mine, hubby, my parents and mother in law's phone numbers onto a piece of paper, and placed the paper in a pouch together with shillings 10cents, 20cents and 50cents.  This pouch stays inside the bag at all times.  You must teach your child how to use the public phone or teach them how to ask for help from the teachers or school's staffs to call parents in case of emergency, like if your child feels sick and wanting to go home.

Ok.
Izzi, that's all that I can think for now.
Will update you and other readers if anything pops up in my head later.

Till then, have a great weekend ya'ols!

Just like MacGyver

Shame on you if you don't know who is MacGyver.
Seriously.
Go and download a series and watch it carefully.
Then you'll know why I badly worshipped him.
Bwahahhaa..
Yes, that mullet hairstyle just gets me every time!
Kinda have the Rod Stewart look, I must say.
Believe it, I considered him to be the most handsome and smartest man alive at that time.
Gone head over heels for MacGyver, and followed the series like a hawk!
It's just plain fun to see the clever solutions MacGyver implemented using just the basic household items and with his ever so faithful red-swiss army knife, to get out of troubles.
It's like a different scientific breakthrough at each and every series.
And when science plus physics is involved, you can actually see the logic behind it and how it really works!
Who can get board with that?
Hmm.. did I just sounded like a geek?
Bwahahaha..
Ok, enough about that.
This post is to commemorate recent incident happened to me during an office seminar.
I was having a shoe malfunction to be exact.
My nike sneakers decided to stick out it's tongue at me.
LOL
Although Mr. Crab would have been very proud of me and my effort to try and walk, it was still a pain to do so.
So, what would MacGyver do?
After a few minutes of looking at my shoes instead of paying attention to the seminar, I just had this brilliant idea.
Thanks to Hj. Mus for helping me in locating these rubber bands.
After almost 20 years of his final series, I'm sure MacGyver will be very proud of me.
Bwahahhaha.

Hooray for Glucolin

Once again, Arif was having bad stomach ache a couple of weeks ago.
He vomited since the break of dawn and got me worried sick.
By noon, there's practically nothing in his stomach as he kept vomiting every single thing that we gave him.
And he's already scared of eating anything.
We took him to the doc and he said it was just gas.
But perhaps the gas was too much, causing him to constantly vomit, even the medicine got out.
We were advised to give him small bites of food, with time gap, like a munch in a few minutes.
Just to slowly get the food into him.

I almost forgot that we have this glucose Glucolin blackcurrant drink.
Oh thank god for my Glucolin-born-fanatic-hubby! hahaha.. yes, this is hubby's drink!
And it's a must to stock up, during the upcoming fasting month of Ramadhan.

Just to note, for vomiting kids, best to give glucose to cover the loss of water and to provide instant energy.

And for the food, I made small cuts bread with nutella.
First, take a white bread.

Then, remove the edges and cut it to 9 squares.

Next, splat the nutella on top.
There you have it, Arif called it baby-nutella !

And this was what left of it, after 30 minutes of slow and steady munching.
Phew.. no more vomiting after that.

And of course, with every baby-nutella, must come the big-brother-nutella too.
Amin's nutella is slightly bigger than Arif, of course.
I made the 4 square-cut for him.
Simple and cute.
And the most important is that, it works !

Tuna rolls for tea

Another instant recipe from me.
All you need is bread, tuna-in-a-can and butter.

First up is the put a spoonful amount of tuna onto the bread.

Then flip it.

And don't forget to splat some butter in between the bread.
The butter helps keep the bread together and for better frying too.

No need oil, just lay them all onto the pan.
Leave it on for about 2 minutes.

Flip them over.
Let the bread toast evenly on both sides.
Another 2 minutes here.

And wallaaaa!
Cut them in style.

Yummyyyy!!
