Who?
Well, let me introduce you to one of the Coach Madison Collection, the Sabrina!

Yes, it all started with this picture of Michelle Trachtenberg with green patent Sabrina. (picture found in tpf)It was March 2009, so, I simply asked hubby for it as my birthday present. From the picture, hubby said it's an ugly green but he still bought it because I was so determined on it.
And when it arrived, wallaaaa!! He got the shock of his life! As the green turns out to be more than stunning! Introducing, the Coach Madison Large Green Patent Leather Sabrina, style # 12948This marks the Sabrina love affair! I love that it can be hand-held, and comes with detachable strap for shoulder carry. I've fallen deeper in love with it each day and unable to fight the temptations of buying several more.. well, another 5 to be exact! hahaha..

My All Time Favourites..

( this is taken from my post in the bag-aholics blogspot )

..is the CARLY!!

Carly is THE most famously associated to Coach Brand.

This is Coach classic handbag design and no other brand dare to create similar look to it. Carly marks the the beginning of Coach era. It was at that moment, like, a must have for all Coach addict!

And after owning two, I honestly believe that you can never go wrong with Carly.
It matches perfectly with every single outfit, at any point of time and functions!

I bought my very 1st Carly at Coach KLCC and it was my dear hubby who pointed it out as she sat quietly on the top shelf, with 50% discount tag during the Coach Clearance 2008! And it was love at first sight!

This is my Coach Large Parchment Leather Carly style #10616, with Mahogany leather trim and Brass hardware.
And check out the baby blue satin lining.

Of course I couldn't just stop there.. I mean, everything needs a partner, right? hehe..
So, I went back to visit all the Coach boutiques but they only have the Coach Signature Carly and no more leather..
I'm not so much into siggy prints, hence, I moved to Ebay and found the perfect pair!

Ta-daa!! Here's my Coach Large Black Leather Carly style #10616, with Black leather trim and Brass hardware.
And with it's shimmering bronze satin lining.

As usual, accessories are my bags best buddies..
so, here are the carlys gorgeously dressed up for the day..

Just incase you didn't notice, I was actually using the same ponytail scarf.
This scarf has several patterns on it and it is different front and back.. absolutely creative isn't it? hehe..

My Coach Ergo Collection

( this is taken from my post in the bag-aholics blogspot )

Hi. My name is Jay. I am a 32 year old mommy to two beautiful cheeky boys.. and I am a self proclaimed Coach-addict! Hahaha.. Yes! I love coach handbags and in this 1st entry of my Coach handbags, I would to share with you my Coach Ergo Collection.

In my humble opinion, I think this must be the most lightweight leather collection ever made by human kind. Yand you can tell that it is lightweight even by the looks of it.

First up is my Coach Large Tan Pleated Ergo Leather Tote, style #12247, followed by Coach Medium White Pleated Ergo Leather Tote style #12240 and lastly the Coach Rose Pleated Framed Ergo Leather Satchel style #12248. All are gorgeously lined with Coach Tattersall sateen fabric lining.
Ok, so you may think that what's so special about this Ergo anyways? It looks boring, there's no hardware accessories, no bling bling.. but just pure plain looking leather bag.. Not even a Coach writing on it (except for on the hangtag and inside tattersal lining and the style creed)..

Well, that's what accessories are all about my dear! Just like a woman, handbags too need accessories to complete the look, if u know what i mean *wink*..and here are pics of my bags taken as i accessorised it to use accordingly throughout the week.
So you see, the Ergos practically have endless looks! With the right kind of accessories, you can transform it to suit any attire, formal and casual. No, you do not need to buy only Coach accessories to use on it. U can mix it up with others, even personal stuffs. For instance, the brown silk scarf on the ergo was actually my mom's scarf! I tried to use the Coach brown-patchwork ponytail but it just didn't match well. See for yourself:
The tips is not to be afraid to mix and match. Till next episode, have fun with your handbags and don't forget to accessorize!

For the love of COACH

Oppss.. I have become addicted to the purse forum and have been buying COACH handbags ever since my December 2008 purchases.. but no worries, nobody have been starving and I have not been selling my kids in the black market to fund my coach-addiction.. yet.. haha!! Everything is still under control as I have tried my very best to hunt for bargains and although I love all the bags that I have bought, I will sell the unused ones in order to fund up and to make way for the new purchase.. that's how I get my money rolling and to prevent from spending large amount at once.

I have without any shame appointed myself as the Malaysia- Coach - Ambassador, in the purse forum.. the thread is here just incase if you're wondering about it
And I have contributed several posts in the bag-aholics blogspot.. including selling my unused pre-loved and some new with tags bags as well over there..

Which that reminds me maybe I should also posts about it in here, my own blog because I do have one.. haha.. ok.. let that be note to self..

i feel like a ball..

..being passed around, each time whenever there's an organisational restructuring!
I hate this part right here!
This is one of the disadvantage of working in a huge company where man power is merely just based on filling in the chart boxes, instead of job matching!
Not only it doesn't matter to whatever course study you took during your strive-for-a-degree years, but also doesn't even relate to whatever job that you have done last month, last year, or last freaking 7 years!!
Seriously, for a company this big and old and established, I have to say, the management are idiots.

Suddenly I became a COACH junkie!

I'm blaming it all on hubby!
He was soooo not helping me at all!
Whenever I flaunted a Coach bag at him, he will say, "oh that is nice.. u better get it before somebody else does.. u will never get it this cheap again.."

It all started last 30th November, the Coach Fall/Holiday Clearance Day!
Crazy as it sounds, check out the lines at the Coach boutique The Gardens Midvalley Megamall on the 1st day of the clearance. It's totally nuts! I had to line up alone because strollers were not allowed into the boutique, hence, hubby stay outside with the kids while mommy went crazy all by herself! opsss.. hehe..

And thanks to my very supportive hubby who were communicating with me from the side window, I instantly bought this, my third Coach handbag, the Coach Bleecker Sophie Winter White Leather, style # 12406 at 30% off!

Check out its beautiful Coach Heritage Tattersall lining!

Am I done? U bet!
Oh no, it's not over yet..
The very next day, I went to check out the Coach boutique at KLCC and again, with the hubby's comment "that is a very classic design.. u must get that", I bought my forth Coach, the Coach Large White Leather Carly , style # 10616..
Yes, don't tell me, it's another white leather!
I know! I know!
Ok, shut up!

..it comes with soft baby blue sateen fabric lining.. soooo pretty!!

So, then again, I'm blaming hubby, as usual, coz a few days later, while I was happily playing with my new toys, he said "wish the Carly would come in black".. and it got straight to my head!
So, I called up all Coach boutiques in Malaysia searching for the possibility of them having a black leather Carly. And since there aren't any, I went back to the main source - Ebay!!
There were several Large Black Leather Carly up on ebay but if course, being a long-time ebayer myself (ehemm) I will not jump straight into the pond but I spent 2 weeks googling and searching for a trusted seller and tips on how to check on the authenticity as ebay is very popular place for fake items..

My research paid off well when i successfully grabbed a bargain on the Coach Large Black Leather Carly, style # 10616 which as soon as it arrived, I straight away took it to Coach boutique at KLCC to check for its authenticity!
All the salesgirls came straight at me to look at my spanking fifth Coach acquisition and gawk at the bargain I got as it was really cheap compared to the price here and it is brand new and genuine!

Oh, and that's just the Coach handbag.. we have not yet talked about the Wristlets.. hehe ;) *wink*

what in the world happened to me!

Oh gosh.. I suck at blogging! Hands down!
It's been more than a year!
Oh no, wait, it's more than one and a half year!
Look at the dates!
I'm gonna go hide myself in shame..

But then again, oh well, who's watching my blog anyway?

Lets do some catching up, ok..

June 2007 - Jan 2008 ; my most dramatic period in life!
As far as I can recall, my job sucks! and I was treated like dirt at work and felt like a ball, can be easily tossed here and there.
My agm swap my post with another girl for the reason that I can do her job better. Well, yes, I have to admit that she was kinda sick at that time and cannot carry such burden, but as for me, I had zero knowledge at all regarding software and system applications. Hell, I don't even have any education background in it, let alone the working experience. But to cut the story short, I strived my @$s and became a DBA- database administrator within a month. I ultimately done my very best and have exceed in handling the system more than I thought I was capable of. But, honestly, I found no happiness at all in doing this. So, I keep on scouting for other placement. My agm had several times interfered with my quest in finding new post (which I accidentally found about this later after I left the division). And after all my effort in carrying out my job task despite the fact that I hate doing it, my agm just put aside all my effort and rate my career performance as average and not excellent. Must I let u know that he passed down the mandate to both of my managers (1st and 2nd quarter year) to change my high rating scores to medium and the reason being is that I have changed to another division. Duhh.. helloooo, I moved in February 2008, meaning that I completed the whole farrkking 2007 serving your stupid systems! Can u tell that I'm still angry?

Then, at the same time, I got pregnant. Yes, bun was in the oven, and I had 6 pregnancy bleeding incident due to the traveling back and forth that I had to do whilst handling the job at hand. I reached a point where even my doctor told me to do a 'cleanup' because she suspected that this could be an abnormal pregnancy and the bleeding were just to risky. But the Al-Mighty has proven that he is the most Merciful and most Powerful and thanks to Allah for my motherly instinct not to go ahead with the cleanup, but instead tawakkal and waited for another two weeks for the tiny little life to become perfect!

Feb 2008 - May 2008 ; sunshine on my window!
I moved to a new division, and lasted for only 2 months before I went on maternity leave!
Gave birth to another beautiful boy, Arif, weighing 2.93kg, and 50cm tall.. (recalling his brother Amin who was at 2.78kg and 51cm). Arif was born on 28th March, a day before my birthday. I was a much hurtful birthing experience because I was not able to take epidural due to the stupid nurse! I kept telling her that I'm having contractions at my back -same like my first delivery, I felt like my backbone was gonna snapped in half. But she kept checking for contractions up front on my belly and told me that the monitor didn't capture any readings. Hubby and I monitored the contractions together using his stop watch and after 5 minutes contractions gap felt, finally the nurse said "oh, it's already 7cm and there's no more time for epidural" .. sssshhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiittttttt!! Can u tell how pissed off I was at that time!
I was given the laughing gas and dozed off while the nurse paged the doctor and prepared the room for labour. And the next thing I heard was Prof Siti saying "Ok, remove the gas. I want her to start pushing" and at that instance, semi-awake, I said to Prof "Why do u put your hand there?" (referring to my down-there part) .. and she said "My hands are here!" lifting both her gloved hands up high.. "That's the baby's head" she said.. and I was like "Oh" ..
Honestly, I can't remember exactly how it felt, but I do know that I was pushing according to doctor's timing and tears streaming down my cheek which hubby then rubbed it with his fingers, and felt like someone tearing me up down there, and then a sense of relief as he came out safely!

3 days after that I found out the company was doing another restructuring and I was once again, transferred to another team, which I seriously don't care as I was about to enjoy my two months of maternity leave! woott! woott!! :P

June 2008 - now ; like a newborn..
It's not only that I've gone through labour, but I too felt like a newborn!
New addition to the family, new life, new job and not to mention, new addiction too..
I'll talk about it later.. hopefully.. so, stay tuned! hehe..

time flies speedingly fast

Wow..
It has been a while since my last entry.. I almost forgot that I actually do have a blogspot.. haha

Hmm.. Let me recap where was I in my last entry..
Oh yes.. The job post that I've applied.. Well, guess what, I didn't get the post and let me tell you what happened to it. I called the manager of that post and she told me that her boss (the management) rejected my application, but she didn't know to what reason. So, without wasting my time, I went to see her boss, who is the assistant general manager of that division. My intention was to appeal to him and to prove that I'm the best candidate for that post. Heck, actually I don't have to tell him anything at all because he already knows me, he knows of my previous posts and what I have done before and what I am capable of doing. I even have the manager backing me up. It was a very easy job opening for me, at least that's what I thought. Anyway, I went and see this guy and he's a very nice guy indeed. He's actually more of a listener than a talker. I told him of all the things I've done since I first started working here in 2001 and what I have accomplished and what I have learnt and participated in et cetera et cetera.. blah blah blah. He listened to me with interests and after I've enthusiastically finished telling him everything, he calmly said "I want a marketing background staff. We already have too much engineering staffs here doing marketing and still cannot sell the products. I want somebody with marketing background, to sell it all". That's it. No matter what I said, or how much I tried to convince him, or how many marketing jobs I've done and participated throughout all these years, I still couldn't changed the fact that I was an engineering background student and have no education level of marketing at all. So, I thanked him for agreeing to see me and left his room. I was upset, devastated, but life goes on.

Next : Han called twice from Utah - which we later found out from his phone bills that his 4 minutes calls costs nearly RM100 !! The rates were not only charged by Celcom but also the US provider, that includes all the SMS rates too. What a total rip off!!

Anyway, Han came home safely a week later and bought me many many gifts! Yeay! He bought me a COACH handbag at the Factory Outlet near Utah. It's a COACH Hamptons Signature Perforated Business Tote Carryall, style number 8K07. At first, when he sms to inform me about it I was very sceptical and doubted his fashion senses. But when I saw the bag, I was stunned. I am seriously lucky to have married him. His taste in style is unquestionably perfect!
He bought me Victoria Secret bra and perfume and a couple of OshKosh cargo pants, t-shirts and baseball cap for Amin.. Oh so cuteee!
And as he also bought me Crocs Mary Jane, just like I wanted it, simple black. Which allows me to decorate mine and Amin's clogs (RM9.99 from Giant Supermarket :) ) with plenty of fashionable Jibbitz!

About our KD house, the interest fee has been waived up to 50%. It's still a lot to pay but we are thankful for it. So, we finally settled the RM5k ++ and took the house keys from the developer and visited the house. Oh my. I've never been this excited in a long time. My mind is filled with ideas on how to decorate the house. For the past few weeks, we have been calling up several contractors to come to the house and give us quotations on expending the kitchen area, kitchen cabinets, built in wardrobe and redo front porch roofing. I have surfed to numerous websites and thinking about it day and night and even popped into my dreams during my sleep! Oh, and not to mention about stopping our car in front of other people's houses just to look at their grilles! hehe.. About the budget, we are praying that the company stocks will increase its values so that we can sell our stocks and get the money from there. But unfortunately, now is not a good time as the market is kinda slumping down at the moment. So, I guess maybe it will be a while before we finally get the renovation done.

bumpy week

Last week has been a very emotional week for me.

I've got all my masters-application results and got rejected to all. Well, actually there were two universities that extended their offers to me but without the Erasmus Mundus scholarships, which means, no point of pondering over it because the main quest was actually for the scholarship. I was in a mixed feelings as I did pray to Allah that if this further studies is good for me, my family and our future, it will be a piece of cake for me to get the scholarship, and vice versa. So, I guess this is one of Allah's ways of answering my prayers.

Han is now in Salt Lake City, Utah attending the Novell conference. He left me and Amin here with my parents. I can't talk much about it because I'm rather upset that we didn't have a lot of money, or else we will be able to afford the flight ticket and tag along. This is not the first time he went on a business trip. He left for Korea 2 weeks after I delivered Amin, and I was so stressed out at that time but I think I had to sit that one out because the timing was horrible. But now, when the timing is right, there's always another issue comes popping up. Money.

We have the money. Yes, actually we do. But due to the fact that our future house is almost completed and will be ready in a month or two, we need to save up the money for moving in and buying stuffs for the new home. Whatever it is, I'm bumped..

Then, there's the great news. I've applied for a higher post grade in another division and my boss has agreed to release me without replacement, meaning that I can go immediately. Yeay! But there's just one more thing that I still have to wait upon, the approval from the management of this division that i am applying to. My future manager just can't wait for me to work with her, but she has to wait for the final approval from her superior.

Urgghh.. waiting is just full of suffering.. it's killing me..
So, now I am currently waiting for :
  • Han's call/sms/email.
  • New job post- appointed letter.
  • The house interest fee waived.
  • 5.30pm, so I can go back home..
