Still Oct Photo-A-Day effort

Let's continue.

Day 8 "Angle"
Triangle is my favourite angle.  What's yours?
Hahaha.. just trying to take this baby out for a breather.
It's the Louis Vuitton Watercolour Aquarelle Speedy 30 in White.
I really do not have the courage to handle vachetta leather.. Sigh.. :(

Day 9 "Red"
Or famously known as Pomme D'Amour..
oh sounds soooo romantic isn't it?
My favourite shades of red ever!
From the Louis Vuitton Vernis collection, these are the Sarah Wallet and the Cles Key Pouch.

Day 10 "Emotion"
This is genuinely happy feeling for my baby, as bathing like a princess is her ultimate favourite activity!

Day 11 "Something close up"
And what better way than to capture this Coach Crocodile Embossed Maggie Ink texture for this day theme.

Day 12 "On the table"
Is what I have prepared for my mom!
Breakfast in bed.
Homemade pancake with butter, maple syrup and honey as dipped choices and hot nescafe on the side.
Mom's birthday was on the 11th October.
Of course, we had the celebration later the weekend but this was the least I could do before rushing off to work.

Day 13 "Landscape"
Love this view overlooking from the open area outside the Kuala Lumpur National Mosque.

Day 14 "Makes you laugh"
And drives all the worries away..
Remind me to focus more on spending quality time with my family.

Day 15 "Dinnertime"
Yes, I know, I'm a bad mother..
but what can I say when all that he wanted was a milk shake with whipped cream on top?
Yeah, coincidentally, we do always have whipped cream in the fridge.
And yes, strawberries too.. LOL

Day 16 "Something you wrote"
Seriously, writing is no longer something I do on regular basis.
It's always jotting down notes on laptop or notepad inside the iphone.
But sometimes, scribbling it down does help to have the clear understanding.
Conclusion, I think my handwriting is getting uglier.. hmm..

That's all for now.
Will be back for more!

Oct Photo-A-Day update

Let's continue;
Day 4 "what you read".
Not only that I read, but I designed, print and pasted it onto the door.
I was organising a week long data cleansing task force meeting and hence decided to spice up the room with this.
Pretty neat, huh?
Just like the laundromat, only dedicated in cleaning customer and circuit data prior to upcoming system migration.

Day 5 "shadow" was totally upsetting for me.
Because the day was gloomy and rain pouring down in the evening.
I waited the whole day for a glimpse of a shadow, but to no vail.
So, before I went to bed, and for the sake of continuing my 30-day challenge, I took kermit the frog out by myself.

For Day 6 "I'm thankful for", I wanted to express my love for my kids.
If this blogger website continues functioning for the next 10 more years, and if my kids end up reading this blog, I want them to know that they are everything to me.
Amin is the one that keeps me sane.
Arif is the naughty one.
Aishah is what keeps us together.

Day 7 " Light"
This is actually sunset light captured by Amin's school.
Yeah, was waiting for to pick him up at 6.30pm.

ok.. to be continued later

It's the exam week, again!

As usual, it will be like I am the one who will be taking the exams.
Figuratively speaking.
It's Amin's final year exam week, and who else would be freaking out like a mad woman, other than his own momma!

No more TV.
No more iPad.
No more playing ninjago.
No more playing with Arif, especially!
Mommy is putting you on strict revision timetable and closely be monitored by moi.
I know I'm not supposed to pressure my kid.
He's only 8 years old anyway.
But hey, you can't really shrug the mommy-wanting-child-to-be-prepared-for-exam feeling, you know..
It's just the natural way for a mommy to respond.
Gonna go all the way to help her children.
As much as she can.
That's what mommies do best!
Hmm.. now where's that calculator to help me count?

A Photo A Day

Oh I sooo am missing my blog.
I used to sometimes spent time reading my own entry.
Because it holds so much memories.
But my life currently is way too hectic, that I hardly even have the "me" time anymore.
Then again, I'd rather sacrifice that, to spent the time with my kiddos, of course.

Been introduced by an old friend to this, which I find it relatively fun.
This could take my mind of work for a while and well, at least now, it can become my current hobby.
It's from
Just a list of photo challenge to put on the Instagram.

I started with Day 1 "where you stood" with this picture of me sitting in the car, on my way to work.
Well, to be exact it's a picture of my Louis Vuitton Mirage Speedy next to my feet wearing Clarks black patent leather sandals.

My Day 2 "lunchtime" was a picture of my Avent breastpump kit.
Yeah, my lunch hours are usually boring.
Me and my commitment to fully breastfeed my baby, Aishah.

Next, I was soo keen to put on something spectacular for my Day 3 "this happened today" challenge.
I've been waiting for something weird or great to happen so I can share it.
But unfortunately, the day was terrible.
I got pissed off and annoyed at so many people at work, even got angry at my boss.
Got way too busy attending more meetings than a person could handle.
Was going from one building to another, and answering one phone call to the next.

Which then I realised why I felt super hungry by lunch time.
I actually had skipped my breakfast.
So, I ended up with a hefty roasted chicken and cleaned the plate in seconds!
Which then, that's my Day 3 pics.
Ahh.. yummy..
And they said that we eat when we're stress!
It's just hungry, really.
Pfffttt !

Baked with lotsa love, fun and joy

Mommy : Amin, what cake shall we bake for ayah?
Amin : Yucky mud!
Arif : Bloody red!

And after two hours, we got this.

This all happened last night.
Initially I wanted to bake chocolate cake, but then as I scanned through the cabinet, I'm lacking of chocolate bar, and evaporated milk.
Then I thought of baking apple cream cheese cake, but then, it is so obvious, I am lacked of apples, and cream cheese too.
Yes, Yes, last night was an adhoc decision on baking a cake for hubby's birthday today.
Then I asked Amin, and got the answer.
Lets bake whatever the kids want.
Layer cake!
Or as my grandma said, "kek wa-re-ne"

With only butter, eggs, sugar, flour and colouring, I am confident to let the kids help out.
Yeah, they've done this before so, easy breazy.
I laid out newspaper on the floor for us all to sit properly.
This is to avoid things falling onto the floor, if we end up doing it on the table or counter top.
The kids love to help out because they get to work on their own bowl and put the colouring that they desired.
I gave each one a bowl and split the mixture to two.
Amin wanted to make a "dirt-mud".
While Arif opt for "bloody" dough.
We then scooped each mixture on top of each other, alternately, into the baking pan.
No need to shake the pan, just let it shape up to whatever the gravity likes.
And on to the oven.

Hubby's birthday is toady, but of course, you can't dismiss the freshly baked smell of the cake lingering around the house.
And yes, when it comes to birthdays, the kids are the happiest people of all, even though it's not their birthday.
So, here we are.
Baked with lots of love from the kids and moi.
Happy 34th Birthday to hubby.
Sorry that Aishah was already asleep.
Hence, it's the boys club, as usual.
Best served with hot tea.
Or for the kiddos, cold fresh milk.

May you be blessed with health and wealth.
And hope for more sweet memories to come.

Designer Disaster

What have I gotten myself into this time?
Yes, I am known to be trapped in the designer handbags zone.
But who would have thought that I'd be so caught up with designer clothing now?

So, yeah, we read it all the time about designer collaboration such as Missoni for Target, Lanvin for H&M, Versace for H&M, Rei Kawakubo’s for H&M and the ever so epic Karl Lagerfeld for H&M in 2004.
But those all were not in Malaysia.
We, Malaysian, are nowhere near such designer hype.
We do not go nuts for international designers because they're not brought into here.
We just swoon from far far away land, through the internet and E!News.
Yeah, lame-o-us.
But who cares right?
We are born and trained to stay calm.
So, thats what I thought.
Little did I know, I was dead WRONG!

Started with 6th June 2012, news spread from one local news to another that Rizalman is collaborating with Tesco in releasing several clothes special for this upcoming Eid-ul Fitr.
This released is called 20-by-Rizalman and shall be available for all the hobbits in July 2012 at 20 Tesco stores around peninsular.

Rizalman who?
Ohhhh.. that Rizalman.
Who designs clothes for the Malaysian royalty and actress and singers and socialites.
Yeah, what about him?
Baju Raya?
Cheapest is RM180?
Max is RM250?

Since it is available at Tesco, and we have Tesco Shah Alam, Tesco Mutiara Damansara and Tesco Puchong nearby to the house, hubby agreed to take me on my quest in search for MY Rizalman.
First day, Tesco Shah Alam.
Ohhh sooo many choices.
But.. But.. But.. where's XL ??
Demmit.. no XL size!!
What do you mean all finished? Crazy!
Second day, Tesco Puchong.. same-o-no-XL.
Frustrating, really.
I'm not that fat ok!
I'm just big size, 165cm tall with wide shoulder and hip bones.
I can fit into L but then my monkey arms and bulging ankles will poke other people's eyes!
We had to pause the hunt and wait for the following weekend to pursue my quest for XL since both of us are working.

Third trip, we drove all the way to Tesco Ampang after getting WhatsApp by an office mate that she saw a few XL the day before.
Not exactly the designs that I wanted, but I caved in and bought two.
Final trip, Tesco Mutiara Damansara, since it is near to our house.
Hoping and wishing.
Managed to get the very last one standing.
Overall achievement, three Gold Medal!

I am one happy mommy, despite having to drag all my 3 kids along the journey.
Well, I thought I was.
Jovian came along!
What the h....
Who the h....
Oh oh..
Here we go again.

Jovian Mandagie.
Who designs clothes for the Malaysian royalty and actress and singers and socialites.
Well known for couture wear and JM bridal collections.
Yeah, what about him?
Baju Raya?
Max is RM400?

Now comes the hard part.
First Lady Boutique.
Only one is near to me, and that is Plaza Alam Central.
And by following instagram #jovianrtw, I found out that it has been jammed packed since wee morning.

Having 3 kids in tow, hubby said it's best to just go via for the online option.
Oh gosh.
This cracked my brains.
Because Jovian came out with designs selections more than Rizalman.
Can you possibly imagine the pain that I had to go through to made up my mind on which to grab?
And worst part of all, was that I had to do it virtually!
Without feeling the material.
Without seeing the exact shades and beading and lace trim.
Without fitting it onto myself.

To go purchase via online, was definitely not the best plan.
Online is more disastrous than reality.
Because the crowd could be 10, 20 or 100 times more than those ransacking the boutiques.

As expected, all XL sizes of the designs that I am aiming for, sold out in less than five mouse clicks!

But hey, look, not all the collections are up for grabs.
Where's the rest of them?
Now we know that Jovian is releasing them in batches.
So, there's still chances of me getting them in my size.
Fuhhh.. breathe in .. breathe out.. stay calm..

After sulking for a few days, without realizing it, Jovian released a second batch.
Thought it was just restocking on Zalora, but hooraaahhh, new designs!
Click here and there, then again, too late for me to get what I wanted, in XL size.
This was stressful.
Very.. very.. stressful.

What on earth is going on here?
Has somebody been haggling all the XL sizes?
Is there an XL underground club that I am not aware off??
Demmiiitttt !!

They say third time's a charm..
Heck! Yeah, right! Pffftttt!

Same old thing happened.
On, for the third Jovian released, I have once again unsuccessfully grabbed my choice of XL clothes.
Well, to be exact, I had them both in my shopping cart, right at 10.14pm, that's 4 minutes after Zalora released the batch for sale.
All of a sudden, the website started giving me error notification.
I kept refreshing and re-clicking the mouse selecting them into my shopping cart.
Unfortunately, by the 6th minutes, all XL sizes are gone.

That's the end of it.

So, I thought.

Hmm.. not quite.
Jovian has a secret plan up his sleeves.
A finale.

I don't know what to think, or hope, or wish for anymore.
Should I give up?
Or die trying?

Side note :
If anybody sees these in size XL and available for grabs, please let me know / sell it to me.
I'm desperate.

Annoying Calls from 035638xxxx

I know this is supposed to be a Wordless Wednesday, but hell I am so pissed with these calls stupid prank callers.

I've been receiving calls since yesterday, from these two numbers :
03-5638 1665
03-5638 0638

The callers were some giggly girls passing the phone to one another to hear my voice saying "hello" back to their "hellos".. and then they hung up.
I felt like an idiot.
I tried calling back these numbers but got to some fax machine sounds.
